What are allergy drops and how do they work?

Allergy drops are a type of sublingual immunotherapy. This treatment helps your immune system learn to tolerate allergens over time, through specifically dosed exposure to those allergens. You place customized drops under your tongue daily and over time your body builds a lasting tolerance. This process can reduce or eliminate your allergy symptoms for years. Unlike medications that mask symptoms, allergy drops address the root cause of allergies to help you overcome allergies for good!

How much does Quello cost?

Cost can be broken into three categories: Testing, Consultation, and Treatment with follow up.

Testing: We help patients understand what they’re allergic to and find treatment options for lasting relief. To make getting started easier, we provide our $295 at-home allergy test at no charge. All you pay is $12.99 to cover shipping to your door.

Consultation: In most cases, insurance covers your consultation just like a visit to your primary care. For patients paying out of pocket, we have a flat cash price of $99. This includes a consultation with a Nurse Practitioner or Doctor who specializes in allergies.

Treatment: Quello offers high-quality sublingual immunotherapy using FDA-approved antigens to create personalized prescriptions. Treatment costs $89 per month and is eligible for HSA and FSA use. You receive all follow-up care at no additional cost while you are on Quello treatment.

Can I use my existing allergy test results?

Yes! We love helping people who are starting to understand and treat their allergies. You can schedule a free consultation with one of our providers to talk about next steps. All we need are test results taken within the past 2 years. We’ll review your results and begin your journey to Allergy Freedom.

What's in the free allergy test kit and what are you getting tested for?

Our at-home allergy test kit measures IgE levels in your blood. This helps identify which seasonal and environmental allergens trigger your symptoms. We test for the 40 most common indoor and outdoor allergens. These allergens impact millions of people every day. Researchers chose them based on clinical research and how often they occur. Grass and shrub pollens: Bahia grass, Bermuda grass, common ragweed, Johnson grass, mugwort, mulberry, nettle, perennial ryegrass, rough pigweed, Russian thistle, sheep sorrel, Timothy grass, and more
Tree pollens: Acacia, alder, Australian pine & beefwood, birch, cottonwood & poplar, elm, maple & box elder, maple leaf & sycamore, mountain cedar, oak, olive, pecan & hickory, rough marsh elder, walnut, white ash, and more
Indoor allergens: Common molds (Alternaria, Aspergillus, Aureobasidium, Cladosporium, Penicillium), dust mites (B. tropicalis, D. farinae, D. pteronyssinus), cockroach allergen, mouse allergen

Why these allergens? They are the main causes of environmental allergies and also provide protection against many related allergens.
